Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Nafplio is located in the old town and is housed in a historic building dating back to the 17th century. Folklore Museum
The Nafplio Folklore Museum, housed in a traditional neoclassical building, is dedicated to the region’s culture and heritage. It displays everyday objects, costumes, tools, and artifacts from the 18th and 19th centuries. Founded in 1969, the museum showcases the history of the town and its people, focusing on traditional arts and local society.

National Gallery
The National Gallery of Nafplion houses one of the most important collections of Greek art. Founded in 1951, it features works by significant Greek artists, spanning from the 19th century to the modern era. The museum is located in a beautiful building in Nafplio’s old town and serves as a cultural landmark, showcasing works that highlight Greece’s artistic heritage and history.

Museum of Komboloi
The Museum of Komboloi in Nafplio was founded in 1998 by the collector George Papadopoulos. The museum houses an impressive collection of komboloi, traditional Greek objects used for relaxation and entertainment. The collection includes over 2,000 rosaries from various eras and regions of Greece, with unique designs and materials. The history of the rosary is deeply connected to Greek tradition and culture, and the museum offers visitors an interesting insight into its evolution through the centuries.
