Nafplio, one of Greece’s oldest and most picturesque cities, boasts a rich history reflected in its unique architecture and monuments. During the Middle Ages, the city was occupied by the Franks and later the Venetians, who fortified it with structures such as Palamidi Fortress, Bourtzi, and other defensive works. During the Greek Revolution (1821-1829), Nafplio played a pivotal role as it became the first capital of the independent Greek state in 1829. The Third National Assembly was held here, and Ioannis Kapodistrias was appointed as Greece’s first governor. Nice hotel and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Recently renovated and located in the center of the old town opposite the port. Run by 2 brothers who speak good Dutch and have a lot of knowledge about the area, such as historical hotspots and which restaurants to eat or not to eat at. Nafplio is a good\/central base to explore Greece.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A beautiful and elegantly decorated guesthouse with good spacious rooms and beds. Quiet air conditioning and fans, good jet shower and an absolutely top notch breakfast. Beautiful location in the centre of Nafplio and close to the ports. Lots to see and do in town. In any case, there is more than enough choice of excellent restaurants near the hostel. The hosts are friendly and attentive. Recommended<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Super nice and comfortable center, completely Greek and a very nice hotel with spacious rooms! You can relax there and enjoy a nice meal everywhere! The service is in both Dutch and Greek and they are very hospitable!!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Very nice accommodation in a very nice spot in historic Nafplio. Excellent quality products in the breakfast very clean hospitable hosts. We felt like guests in a house of friends. A beautiful weekend that is really worth it<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We found this gem in the old town and we are so lucky to have done it. Amazing hospitality from Markos and Dimitris. The room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was delicious, perfect location and I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the owners are. It was recently opened in 2025. The best bed we had during the 2 weeks we travelled around Greece. I look forward to visiting this charming city and hotel again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We had an amazing stay in the pension in September. The room Klimt was very spacious and offered everything what we needed for a family with three children. We enjoyed wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits, pastry, greek yoghurt and a very friendly service. For people with Zoliakie there is glutenfree bread on demand. The pension is located in the heart of Nafplio with walking distance to all the sights, shops and restaurants. We will surely come back again!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
